探究護理教師的資訊科技融入教學之經驗

Exploring the Experience of Nursing Faculty Integrating Information Technology into Instruction

摘要


背景 資訊科技的迅速發展,已衝擊護理專業及護理教學。護理教師是培育護理專業人才的關鍵,因此,瞭解護理教師使用科技融入教學的經驗對於落實資訊教育十分重要。 目的 瞭解某科技大學護理教師使用資訊科技融入教學的現象,進而形構該場域護理教師使用資訊科技融入教學的樣貌。 方法 本研究採取立意取樣,以半結構式訪談取得三位女性護理講師接受訪談。訪談資料以ATLAS. ti 6進行分析。 結果 研究者從參與研究之護理教師的訪談文本歸納出四個範疇:⑴護理教學信念;⑵護理資訊科技概念;⑶護理資訊科技素養;⑷資訊科技融入護理教學。 結論/實務應用 本研究所形構之護理教師使用資訊科技融入教學的樣貌,可作為其他護理教師對於資訊科技融入教學的覺察與省思之參考,促使其重新審視自身使用資訊科技融入教學的經驗和感受,進而對於資訊科技融入護理教學有更進一步的理解與省悟。

Background: The rapid development of information technology (IT) has already had a profound influence on the nursing profession and nursing education. Nursing faculty are key stakeholders in professional nurse learning and growth. Therefore, understanding their personal experiences with integrating IT into teaching curricula is important in order to integrate IT effectively into general nursing instruction. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to interview nursing faculty and explore their experiences related to integrating information technology into instruction. Methods: A purposive sampling method was used. Participants included three female nursing instructors. A semi-structured interview was used to develop texts. Texts were analyzed using ATLAS. ti 6. Results: Four categories were identified, including: (1) teaching philosophies, (2) perceptions regarding the use of IT in nursing, (3) nursing faculty IT literacy, and (4) level of IT currently extant in the nursing curriculum. Conclusion/Implications for practice: Nursing faculty experience integrating information technology can be expected to provide teachers with guidelines necessary for effective instruction.
