A Study of Digital Learning in Higher Education

This research tried to explore the key factors influencing the E-learning effects from server-side and client-side. Based on a face to face questionnaires, this survey conducted at NUU shows that the user's total learning effect (TLE) is highly correlated with user's experience as well as the implanted digital facilities. It could be important to put forward a primer on remote education in a post-pandemic era. The main findings of this survey covered three dimensions: (1) user's total learning effect (TLE) depends essentially on user's age, their using experience related to certain digital interface, self-evaluation of e-learning efficacy and the acceptance of remote learning (R2=0.702); (2) through logistic regression, it's more likely to be convinced that the TLE determines user's digital operational skills, rather than the opposite; (3) still, the TLE is a key determinant of user's willingness to recommend the digital learning service. As a result, a more integrated and optimized user friendly interface will be expected to improve student's motivation and TLE.
