從吳歷的《天樂正音譜》看中西文化融合與時代意義

摘要


吳歷是明末清初中國籍的傳教士,他成長環境中所交遊的師友,使他擁有儒釋道與天主教文化思想的濡養,因著對於信仰的奉獻與熱情,期盼將西方的天主教義廣傳給中國人民,他以中國傳統的散曲來創作西方的彌撒樂曲,完成了《天樂正音譜》這部著作。這部作品無論在內容與結構上,都與西方信仰文化以及音樂藝術有相互的融合,具有獨特的時代意義,更成為中西文化傳播交流史上絕無僅有的存在,為傳教史留下深遠的影響。

Wu Li was a missionary of Chinese nationality in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. The teachers and friends he met during his upbringing made him knowledgeable in Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and Catholicism. Due to his dedication and enthusiasm in faith, he was eager to spread Western Catholicism to the Chinese people by using traditional Chinese verse writing called "Sanqu" to compose western mass music and completed the book "Tianyue Zhengyin Pu."In terms of content and structure, this particular piece of work holds a mutual integration of Western beliefs in both culture and musical art. It has a unique era significance in the history of Chinese and Western cultural communication and exchange and has left a profound impact in missionary history.
