There are three aspects to study the coordination of figurative language about new-poetry: 1. the subject and the figurative object will be in coordination with each other in virtue of their similarity; 2. the coordination between figurative objects will develop either in an ”extensive” or ”inclusive” way if there exist more than one object (i.e., one subject with multiple objects or multiple subjects with multiple objects); and 3. the subject and the figurative object as well as the whole piece of poem will also in coordination thanks to their correlation. This article focuses on the third point. Firstly, I state rationale and highlight the effect of ”association” on the formation of figurative language. Secondly, I analyze the correlation of figurative object with subject and that with the whole piece of poem. The correlation between the subject and the figurative object occurs as a result of ”the parallel counterpoint”, ”rhetorical technique” and ”background”. In terms of the whole piece of poem, there exists coordination between ”motif”, ”title”, ”the present scene”, ”previous figuration” and ”the context of lines” that make the poetry becomes an integral.
