摘要

南投縣竹山鎮社寮國小，位於鎮上較偏遠處，屬鄉村型學校，家長社經地位懸殊，對孩子的健康照護常力有未逮。研究者自86年至社寮國小服務後，秉持著對孩子口腔健康的使命與熱忱，在這13年間，推動了各項措施：在軟體方面，首先建立孩子午餐後刷牙的習慣，並利用孩童的健康數據爭取行政及家長的認同，讓合作社停止供售零食食品；其次尋找社區夥伴－「竹山秀傳醫院」訂定合約，提供就醫診察優惠並協助每半年一次的牙齒健康檢查；教學上運用教育策略推展各項活動，融入健體課程指導學生潔牙方式，致力辦理教職員及家長的口腔保健研習，並借重退休老師的經驗與熱情，協助支持健康中心的業務推展。硬體方面：爭取社區資源「紫南宮」齲齒防治補助款，在歷任校長的支持與重視下，建構合乎師生需求及標準的健康中心及教室配備，更在巧合的機緣下，經由台灣師範大學胡益進教授的審查，促成了牙科檢查台落腳於本校的結果。經由多年的學校衛生護理努力、軟硬體的投入及各方支持下，本校學童的齲齒率逐年下降，口腔保健已見明顯成效。

She Liao Elementary School is a rural township school, located at the more remote place and the edge of the Chu Shan town, Nantou County. Due to the poor social status of the parents, the children's health care has not been appropriately taken well mostly. Since the first day of author's services with this school in 1997, with the mission and enthusiasm, author has been dedicating to the school nursing practice on the children's oral health. In the past 13 years, the following various measures have been consistently promoted.
Regarding the software part:
First of all, the author started to educate the child to form the good habit in brushing their teeth after the lunch, and to use the children's health data to convince the school administrator and the students' parents to agree to stop selling of the snacks in the school's cafeteria. Secondly, in order to take good care of the students' oral health, the contract between the community partner, Chu Shang Show Chwan Hospital, and our school was signed with the special discount for the students' dental treatment and with offering the students of dental health checks once every six months. Under the educational strategy, the teaching activities have been optimized through teaching the students to practice the right way of cleaning teeth in the class, conducting the oral-health seminar for the school staff and parents, and enlisting the retired teachers' experience and passion in helping and supporting the health center for promoting its practice and activities.
Regarding the hardware part:
We obtained the good decay-prevention grants from the community resources, offered by the temple, named Purple Palace. With the successive support and attention of all the principals of this school in past years, the construction of a health center with the necessary equipments-which could be in real fitting to all the needs from the teachers and students-has been carried. Reviewed by Professor Hu Yijin, National Taiwan Normal University, the dental check station was approved to equip at the health center of our school with honor.
Through years of efforts on the school nursing practice, and the continued investments on the hardware and software, and the support from all the parties, the students' decay rate has been obviously declined year after year in our school. It significantly demonstrates that the effectiveness of the oral health is apparent.
