目的:本研究以Rogers的創新擴散理論爲基礎,來探討醫院推動健康促進醫院組織的創新歷程及其創新作爲。方法:採個案研究法,並利用深度訪談法與文件資料蒐集進行研究資料的蒐集。結果:研究結果發現,醫院是否採取健康促進醫院創新策略取決於對創新的接受程度及對外部環境的敏感度,而醫院的領導者對於變革與創新的態度,更是創新擴散的重要關鍵。此外,健康促進醫院創新擴散的歷程可能帶來風險或引起組織的不穩定,因此,有效的管理是須同時並進的創新作爲。結論:爲了培養組織成員具備健康促進醫院組織創新的知識、能力與態度,透過資訊技術和人際傳播等各式管道的健康行銷,以及形塑健康的組織文化都至關重要。
Purposes: This study investigates the innovation process and adoption of Health Promoting Hospitals (HPH) at one Taiwanese hospital using the Diffusion of Innovation Theory developed by Rogers. Methods: This study adopted the case study method and used in-depth interviews and archival data to collect research data. Results: According to research results, whether HPH is adopted depends on a hospital’s acceptance of organizational innovation and its perspective toward the external environment. Furthermore, the attitudes of hospital leaders toward change and innovation play an important role in innovation diffusion. Moreover, the HPHs diffusion process may generate risks and make an organization unstable. Thus, effective management must be involved at the same time as hospitals implement HPHs. Conclusions: To cultivate knowledge, ability, and attitudes associated with HPHs among organization members, health marketing via information technology and the media, and formation of a healthy organizational culture are equally important.
