The purpose of this study was to realize the situation of serious leisure traits, flow experience and place attachment for mountain stream recreational anglers and explore the serious leisure traits, flow experience and place attachment could predict catch and release behavior for mountain stream recreational anglers. The questionnaires were distributed and 360 valid questionnaires were collected, with a response rate of 85.7%. The results were showed: 1. Mountain stream recreational anglers have positive attitude toward the recognitions of the serious leisure traits, flow experience and place attachment. 2. The Logit regression analysis showed that the serious leisure traits, flow experience and place attachment could predict catch and release behavior for mountain stream recreational anglers. In contrast, the predictive regression model has 63.9% exact classification.
