Superior mesenteric artery (SMA) syndrome represents clinical symptoms caused by compression of the duodenum between the aorta and SMA. We report on a 34-year-old man who had abdomen fullness and vomiting for one month. The diagnosis was confirmed as superior mesenteric artery syndrome by abdominal computed tomography. This patient received a laparoscopic gastrojejunostomy and vomiting improved. He was discharged 1 week later after surgery.
