大專生性別平等意識與父母教養之相關研究─以台灣科技大學為例

A Research on the Relations between Gender Equality Awareness of College Students and Their Parental Rearing Patterns

摘要


本研究主要研究目的著重於大專生性別平等意識與父母教養態度與方法,採用問卷調查法,以台灣科技大學之學生施測,使用mySurvey網路問卷系統,根據性別平等意識分類特性發展問卷,題目採李克式五點量表,待資料收集完畢後,獲得有效樣本問卷為630份,以統計套裝軟體SPSS for windows 18.0進行資料分析。研究分析結果,在性別上不論是「性別刻板印象」、「性別偏見」、「性別角色」及「性別認同」等構面皆有顯著差異,且女生比男生具有較好的性別平等意識。在進一步的相關分析裡,父母教養態度與個人性別平等意識呈現正相關,顯示父母教養態度確實會影響孩子性別平等意識的發展;在迴歸分析中,亦有顯著的預測力,可將父母教養態度的結果推論至個人性別平等意識狀況。

The main purpose of this study focuses on investigating the relationships between gender equality awareness of college students and their parental rearing patterns. Survey research was conducted, and a total of 630 valid sample data were collected through MySurvey Internet questionnaire system in a university of northern Taiwan. After the data were collected, the Statistics software of SPSS was utilized to analyze various hypothesized relationships. The gender equality awareness concept was further divided into four sub-dimensions in the research, and they are ”gender stereotypes,” ”gender bias,” ”gender roles” and ”gender identity.” The significant differences were found between male and female students under all four categories, and in general women have better gender equality consciousness than men. Moreover, parental rearing styles are positively correlated to students’ gender equality awareness. According to the regression analysis, parental rearing style was also found as a significant predictor for a student’s gender equality awareness.
