社區無線寬頻網路之服務需求與推廣－以台北市民生社區爲例

本研究目的在探討符合特定社區居民需要的無線寬頻網路服務，本研究發現居民對社區內所需之內容服務包括有：無線網路監視系統、社區網路平台、遠距居家照護、獨居長者關懷、遠距教育及行動學習，以及在地化服務。欲推廣無線寬頻網路社區應用，首重在資訊內容與應用服務，並須提高大眾對無線寬頻網路的認知度與接受度。教育大眾、經濟價格與輕易上手的使用介面，創造出使用誘因與氛圍，將有助於新科技產品的推廣。研究團隊對營運商的推廣方案建議包括：創新服務決策過程應著重於認知與說服階段；降低推廣者與接受者的認知差距；公部門、社區居民與營運商三者角色須明確定位；須堅持提供優質化品質；軟硬體同時到位的服務等。

The purpose of this study is to investigate community services of broadband wireless network to meet the needs of a particular community. The study found that the community services needed include: IP wireless network monitoring systems, community network platform, remote home care, distance education, and localized services. To promote community applications of broadband wireless network, the most important thing should lie on its application and content services, in order to increase people's awareness and acceptance, and to create user incentive and usage atmosphere. It is always helpful to provide economical package and a user-friendly user interface for a new technology product promotion. The researchers provide a set of suggestions for the operators including: (1) Innovative service decision process should be emphasized on the awareness and persuasion stages; (2) The differences between operators and users should be narrowed down; (3) The roles among the local government, the community residents, and the operators should be clearly defined; (4) The competition for quality services should be maintained; (5) The service should well consider the compatibly development of both software and hardware, etc.
