隨著科技的進步,台灣人口生育率降低,台灣於1993年,已邁入高齡化社會。其我造成老年人的生活問題已成為一重大議題,本研究主要目的是探討功能性體適能與老年人身體活動之相關性。本研究發現老年人具有長期規律運動者,其擁有較好的睡眠品質,其身體活動量越多者,在功能性體適能表現成績也越佳,但老年人的體適能隨著年齡的增長而逐漸衰退,是一正常的生命規律,為了維持身體健康與生活品質,可依據老年人體適能檢測之結果,擬定運動計畫,方能延緩社區老人體適能之下滑。結論為建議台灣建立老年人功能性體適能之評量常模,在測驗上有比對的依據,以提升老年人之體適能,以適當安全之運動計畫養成規律運動習慣,作為老年人具有最佳的睡眠品質保證,成為快樂生活的最佳處方。
With the advancement of technology, Taiwan's population growth is lower than past years. From 1993, the elderly population in Taiwan, it started to become the aging society. The main purposes of this study is to investigate the relationship between functional physical fitness and the sleep quality in the elderly population. The conclusion is that the elderly population who keeps a long-term regular exercise, he or she always obtains good sleep quality in the daily life. It also shows that the more phsical activity the elderly take, the better their fitness performance will be. However, the elderly population's physical fitness always decline with ages. This is also a natural phenomenon of life. The conclusion from our study suggests that Taiwan government would establish a set of the elderly functional fitness norm for elderly population exercise prescription. The statistics from tests indicate that the best way to assure the ealderly have good sleep quality is to propose an optimal exercise program acording to their physical fitness level. Besides, it is the best prescription for having a life with joy.
