中華職棒大聯盟投手表現與薪資之分析研究

The Analytic Study of the Pitcher Performance and Salary of Chinese Professional Baseball League

摘要


本研究以2014年至2016年中華職棒的各隊球隊的本國籍投手作為研究對象,探討投手表現與隔年月薪之間的相關性與影響情形,並分析投手表現對隔年月薪之預測情形,建立隔年月薪之薪資模型。本研究採用的統計方法有pearson積差相關分析、獨立樣本t檢定與迴歸分析,本研究所有統計檢定的顯著水準均定為α=0.05。根據研究結果歸納如下:中華職棒本國籍投手的年齡、中職年資與旅外年資等三個變數,皆與投手的表現有顯著的相關,而有旅外經驗與沒有旅外經驗之本國籍投手在平均表現上的也有顯著的差異。但在投手表現多個變數中,沒有任何一個變數與背景變數在三個年份中皆呈現顯著相關或平均數呈現顯著差異。中華職棒本國籍投手的年齡、中職年資與旅外年資等三個變數,皆與投手的隔年月薪有顯著的正相關,其中年齡與旅外年資兩個變數,與薪資在三個年份當中都呈現顯著正相關。而有旅外經驗之本國籍投手的平均隔年月薪優於沒有旅外經驗者。中華職棒本國籍投手在35個的投手表現變數中,有19個變數與隔年月薪有顯著的相關。本國籍投手的表現對隔年月薪有顯著預測力。影響薪資重要的變數為「救援成功」、「年齡」與「勝場」。

The study chose the native pitchers of each team of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) from 2014 to 2016 seasons as research objects, exploring the correlation and difference between the performance of the pitchers and the salary. Then, the study used the performance of the pitchers to predict salary and establish the model of the salary. The statistical methods applied in this research were independent-sample t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation analysis and regression analysis. The significant level of the statistical tests in this research were set at α = 0.05. The results are concluded as follows: 1. There are three variables in the age, years of CPBL, and years of trade overseas of the pitchers, which are significantly correlated with the performance of the pitchers. 2. There are three variables in the age, years of CPBL and years of trade overseas of the pitchers, which are significantly positively correlated with the salary of the pitchers. 3. Among the 35 pitcher performance variables, there are 19 are significantly correlated with the salary. 4. The performance of pitcher has a significant predictive effect on the salary.
