This paper will compare and proofread the poetry of Lin, Yu-Su whose works are compiled by two different resources. The first referential edition of Lin, Yu-Su's poetry is from ”Lying Clouds and Chanting mellows” which is published by Long Wun publishing company and the second edition comes from the National Museum of Taiwan Literature by the name of ”The complete collation of Taiwanese poetry-edition from The Digital Knowledge Base. The goal of this paper is to double check the content of this poetry on the style of layout and the style of collation. Moreover, the way these books dealing with both the common and variant form of Chinese character, the adjustment of the wrong spelling and making up what has been missed will be discussed as well. Generally, the use of a digital database is helpful to heighten up a scholarly research, nevertheless, the editor is demanded for a faithful representation of the original resources. Through our study, the edition of the poetry from The National Museum of Taiwanese Literature has successfully achieved its goal. It has already made some correction in the aspects of the style of edition and the differences between the common and variant form of Chinese character.
