The posterity focused on his calligraphy or "Lan Ting Xu" when talking about him. However, people neglected his other talents. Ming Dynasty Zhang, Pu (1602-1640), he noticed that Xi-Zhi, Wang had the talents of policy and military when he edited Wang, Xi-Zhi's collections. Actually, Wang, Xi-Zhi was a famous writer, politician and militarist. Moreover, he also cared about the economic and people, and the wars in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. From his writings, it was obviously that he had the talent and intelligence for observation.
