車載資通訊技術佈局專利策略研究

The Study of Patent Portfolio Strategies of Telematics Industry

摘要


車載資通訊已成為近年來在ICT技術上熱門的領域,有越來越多相關的研究。本研究的目的即是了解目前車載資通訊的主流技術與專利佈局,同時調查六個主要車廠以深入了解目標廠商在車載資通訊的技術發展趨勢,提供給政府與產業策略性發展建議。本文使用了資料探勘技術中的多元尺度法(MDS)與K-means集群分析法,以探索車載資通訊產業中主要廠商的競爭性技術與策略組群。本研究結果指出廠商之間在技術定位與專利佈局策略上有所差異,透過差異性的定位分析,本文指出不同組織的相對技術優勢並提出策略性發展建議。

Telematics is the most popular in recent years, the field of information and communication issues, was becoming increasingly relevant research. However, the research is still lack in the patent portfolio strategies. The purpose of this research is to study the status of mainstream telematics technology and patent portfolio, and investigates six major international motor firms to define a better understanding of the developmental trends of the telematics technology of major motor firms. This can further provide the government and industry with additional strategic development proposals. We used data-mining methods [multidimensional scaling (MDS) analysis, and K-means clustering] to explore competing technological and strategic-group relationships within the telematics industry in the motor industry. The results indicate that the technical positioning and patent portfolio strategies between the manufacturers is different. We assessed the relative technological advantages position of various organizations and proposed additional technology development strategy recommendations to the telematics industry.
