朝向數位校園:從資訊科技服務創新觀點之個案研究

Towards the Digital Campus: A Case Study from the Perspective of IT Service Innovations

摘要


大部分的研究著重於資訊科技如何影響學生的學習效果,較少有研究從校園內應如何建置資訊科技學習環境的角度來進行探討。本研究從資訊科技服務創新的觀點,來探討學校如何進行數位校園的科技創新應用。當使用者需求模糊或不確定的情形下,本研究提出了資訊創新策略矩陣與資訊使用評估矩陣,作為資訊系統開發中的使用者需求分析的替代方法之一。本研究針對一個數位校園的建置案來進行個案探討。研究結果發現本研究所提出的使用者需求分析替代方法,成為資訊管理部門在進行資訊科技服務創新過程中的重要參考依據。研究結果建議資訊系統的設計者未來在進行資訊科技服務創新時,應不僅侷限於傳統的系統開發者角色,可進一步扮演發明者或創新者的角色,以提供給校園及使用者創新的資訊服務。

Recent studies focused on how information technology influenced students' learning effects; however, they rarely attempted to determine how to construct IT learning environments on campus. From the perspective of IT service innovations, this study probed into innovative technological applications of the digital campus in schools. Regarding users' ambiguous or uncertain demands, this study proposed an information innovation strategy matrix, the AIAI model, and an information usage evaluation matrix as substitute approaches of user requirements analysis in information systems development. A case study was conducted on the construction of a digital campus; and it was demonstrated that user requirement analysis indicated by this study could become important criteria for IT service innovations of MIS Departments. According to the findings, it was suggested that in the future, when information systems designers create IT service innovations, they should look beyond the traditional IS designers, and become creators and innovators in order to provide a campus and its users with innovative information services.
