本研究之目的為瞭解老年人身體活動對醫療看診次數之影響。研究對象為台中市六個海線行政區65歲以上老年人,平均年齡為71.32歲,有效問卷898份。根據調查所得資料,以描述性統計、單因子變異數分析等統計方法進行分析,獲得以下結果:老年人最常從事的身體活動項目為外出步行及散步,有88%的老年人每週至少從事1-2天,老人六個月內的平均醫療看診次數為5.58次,而與醫療看診次數達顯著差異之個人變項為年齡、性別、有無健檢、是否罹患慢性病、工作情形,老年人身體活動量與醫療看診次數呈負相關,即老年人的身體活動量愈高,醫療看診次數愈低。建議老年人平時應增加身體活動量,增強體適能,以減緩身體的老化與衰退,減少醫療看診次數。
The purpose of this study was to understand the influence of elderly people's physical activity to its medical inspection frequency, Using questionnaire research, with the object of over 65 years old elderly people in six sea-line administrative regions of Taichung city. Their average age were 71.32 years old, 898 valid questionnaires received, and according to the research data to analyze by methods of descriptive statistics and One-way ANOVA. The results indicated: first, the physical activities of elderly people most often were go out and for a walk, 88% of them did the activity at least 1 to 2 days every week; Second, the elderly people's average medical inspection frequency was 5.58 times; Third, the significant differences of medical inspection frequency were between personal factors like age, gender, whether he has preventive health check-up and chronic diseases, and work situation. Fourth, there is a significant negative correlation between elderly people's physical activity amount and its medical inspection frequency. Therefore, we suggest the elderly people should increase the physical activity to strengthen the physical adaptability, so that to slow down the aging of the body and recession, and reduce the frequency of medical inspection.
