鹿茸在中草藥中作為補陽劑已歷史悠久,最早的使用記載於東漢時的神農本草經,已被用於滋陰補陽以超過500年。此外,本草綱目上也敘述了鹿茸作為補陽劑之功效。在現今科學上,也證實了鹿茸除了補陽之功效外,可用於治療心血管疾病、婦科疾病、免疫系統、組織修復等。運動疲勞是造成運動表現下降的主要原因之一,造成運動疲勞的原因很多,可能是能源耗盡或代謝物過多堆積,且目前也有許多文獻指出補充鹿茸可以降低運動所造成的乳酸、血氨之升高,並改善急性運動所引起的骨骼肌損傷,延緩疲勞與降低運動造成的傷害。因此,補充鹿茸具有提升運動表現、消除運動疲勞的功效。故本文的觀點將從傳統醫學及營養增補的概念,將鹿茸視為營養增補劑,達到維持健康、提升運動表現,最終有抗疲勞作用。
"Cornu cervi pantotrichum"(CCP) was considered as yang agents for effects of nourish yin yang over 500 years in Chinese medicine. The Compendium of Materia Medica records the CCP was used as yang-invigorating agent. In previous science-based studies, CCP was elucidated for physiological activities on cardiovascular diseases, gynecological diseases, the immune system, tissue repairment. Fatigue is the main causes of exercise performance decrease. Exercise-induced fatigue may be excessive accumulation or depletion of energy metabolites. In additions, previous reports showed the CCP supplement could decrease lactic acid and blood ammonia content after exercise and improve acute exercise-induced muscular injuries for anti-fatigue effect and injury protection. Therefore, this article tried to review the CCP as nutritional supplementation and combined with traditional medicine, was applied to achieve health maintenance, exercise performance enhancement, and fatigue amelioration. Finally discussion biological effects of CCP regarding to exercise performance and fatigue.
