The purposes of this study were to explore the current situation and the relationship between PE teachers’ teaching effectiveness of elementary schools in Taoyuan City District. The questionnaire was developed by the researcher based upon the literature review and documentary analyses. 600 samples were chosen from elementary schools in Taoyuan City District. Finally, 412 data were collected and were analyzed by SPSS for Windows 12.0. The statistical methods include factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product-moment correlation. The findings from the analysis were summarized as follows: 1)The PE teachers of elementary schools perceived an upper level on teaching effectiveness. 2)The teaching effectiveness of PE teachers was affected by their education levels.
