Distributed leadership is not the only one heroic leadership style, but the power is spread among the professional and capable members in the organization. Therefore, the leader should keep an open mind not necessarily to involve oneself in success, cultivate talents, conduct empowerment and share the honor and power with the other members. The research adopted the literature review to approach. To begin with, work on the rectification of name for distributed leadership and illustrate the meaning, theory and originality. Then, investigate domestic and foreign scholars' studies on the results of applying the distributed leadership theory to school organizations. In spite of the advantages of distributed leadership, no leadership but has its drawbacks. In other words, there is no panacea can cure all. Therefore, come up with the possible problems after implementing the theory to school organizations and indicate the direction the theory still needs to be devoted in the future. The researcher really hopes the paper will be beneficial to the people who are engaged in the theory in the future.
