通識課程結合文創產業實習實作的經驗-以「海洋文明與臺灣歷史-客家文化意象導向生活科技」課程為例

摘要


「文化創意產業」為晚近幾年台灣文化界相當關注的議題之一,跨領域課程的設計,正是文創產業的訓練基礎。隨著大學的教育目標應與產業發展緊密結合的論調被不斷的強調,學生畢業後的出路亦是各校辦學口碑的重要依據,因此,順應當紅產業潮流調整課程架構與內容,進行跨領域整合或與企業結盟建立產學合作或實習機制,成為各大學的重要政策方針。公私立大學校院的課程規劃與跨領域學程的創設,變成繼通識教育改革之後的新一波風潮。筆者教授通識核心課程「海洋文明與臺灣」多年,盱衡時勢,有見於通識課程必須朝實用方向靠攏與行政院客委會推動文化產業的成功例子,100學年度第1學期,將通識核心課程「海洋文明與臺灣歷史-客家文化意象導向生活科技」課目中加入實習實作的單元設計,讓同學將電子零組件透過實習教學,組合成科技產品LED行動閱讀燈與簡報指示筆,再賦予客家桐花意象圖案,並設計包裝,親自體驗科技產品注入文化與美學內涵後呈現的附加價值,課後學生反應甚佳。由此經驗知,將通識領域之文化相關課程作跨領域的內容規劃並結合實習,應該是值得費心經營的方向。

Cultural and Creative Industry has been a focus in Taiwanese Cultural Field these years. Interdisciplinary course-design is thereby a foundation for the booming industry. The renovation in Liberal Art Education therefore invites the related course design and interdisciplinary programs which collaboratively lead to a new learning trend in academic field The researcher incorporated a practicum into a Liberal-Art course, "Oceanic Civilization and History in Taiwan-Life Technologies Associated with Hakanese Cultural Images". Students were required to design and decorate LED technological products into Action Light or Laser Pen, on which the Hakanese cultural image-Tung Blossom is inscribed to combine the high tech with cultural and aesthetic meanings. The Art-related courses in Liberal Art education incorporated with practicum are a potential direction which is likely to push forward the related fields in the interdisciplinary experience..
