摘要

本文主要討論中華戲曲專科學校的教科書《民眾小說戲曲讀本》在民國時期的戲曲劇本當中佔據怎樣的一個地位。首先簡單地描述了中華戲曲專科學校的開設經過、教學特徵和南京戲曲音樂院北平分院研究所的事業內容。之後，較詳細地分析了《民眾小說戲曲讀本》的編輯過程、《民眾小說戲曲讀本》的書目和其體裁特點。最後，將《民眾小說戲曲讀本》和民國時期的各種劇本版本進行詳細的比較，證明它在民國時期的戲曲劇本當中的位置，並指出它對往後出版的劇本選集的影響。

This article primarily discusses the significance of textbooks known as Readers for Popular Stories and Drama from the Professional School of Chinese Traditional Opera, considering the place it occupied within the realm of Republican era drama scripts. First, I will sketch a history of the school's founding, its educational characteristics as well as its business with the Peiping research center, a branch of the Nanjing School of Drama and Music. Next, I provide a detailed analysis of the editing process of the Readers for Popular Stories and Drama, its reading list and genres. The final section of this article compares the Readers for Popular Stories and Drama to other Republican era editions of scripts in order to show its significance at the time. Further, I consider the readers influence on later published script collections.
