摘要

「淞滬會戰」是歷次抗日大小會戰中，陸、海、空軍作戰傷亡最慘重的一役。此役雖然未能成功擊退日軍，但由於全體國軍官兵英勇的表現，卻成功地使日軍將主力轉移至淞滬地區；同時也鼓舞了全國軍民士氣，凝聚全國保衛國土的犠牲奉獻之決心。「淞滬會戰」不只是一場戰役，也是一場人心之戰，更是一場轉變敵我優劣情勢的關鍵。日軍轉用兵力投入華東，即陷入泥沼，其「速戰速決」策略無法得逞。另一方面，它激發民族精神力，喚醒全國人民的抗戰意志力，促使全國軍民與政府築起民族團結的長城。

＂ Battle of Songhu ＂ is the most heavy casualties during the War of Resistance against Japan, which involved army, navy and air force. Although the armed forces of the Republic of China failed to repel the Japanese invasion, they succeeded in driving the Japanese military major force into Songhu areas. This battle encouraged the nation’s morale, united the determination of whole country to sacrifice for homeland. ＂ Battle of Songhu ＂ is not only a campaign, but also a turning point of Japanese military from strength to weakness. As Japanese troops moved to east China, it trapped military main force in the most critical situation which the Japanese army ＂quick fix＂ strategy can not be practiced. On the other hand, ＂ Battle of Songhu ＂ inspired spiritual power of the Chinese nation and woke up the people willpower of Republic of China to fight against Japanese invasion. It promoted government, military and people of Republic of China to construct a great wall of solidarity to defend the nation.
