試論國家步道的觀光意象與古道的文化語彙

摘要

隨著經濟的發展，國人休閒旅遊風氣提升，除了放鬆身心的遊樂活動之外，人們也開始重視由休閒活動中能得到知性的遊憩體驗，為提供更具多元化、富教育性的旅遊景點，林務局在2006年完成了國家自然步道系統的建置，用意是除了提供經過審慎勘察指認的國家級步行體驗廊道外，還提供了民眾一般生態旅遊、自然體驗、環境教育、休閒遊憩與景觀欣賞等服務，具有歷史意義的古道亦成為現有的資源被收編在國家步道的系統內，成為遊憩的廊道空間。在休閒體驗加入知性服務的同時，古道的空間意涵，在現代化建置的手法中，產生詮釋的失真，本文藉由國家步道建置的歷程與管理維護的問題談古道的文化意涵的體現與觀光發展並存的探索性分析。

A general like of leisure traveling has raised along with the economics grows, in addition to participating mind-slack of recreational activities, one has began to make much of knowledge appreciation. In order to offer more diverse and educational scenic spots, the Forestry Bureau has establishing national nature trails system in 2006. The Forestry Bureau provides not only the national scenic routes with cautions prospect but also services of ecotourism, nature-awareness, environmental education, leisure and recreation, and landscape appreciation. The ancient trials with historical meaning have become national resources; moreover, they are grouped into national trails system and developed as leisure and recreation trails. While the intellectual services are brought into leisure and recreation experiences, the interpretation for ancient trails is also implicitly distorted under modern buildings and architectures. This paper discusses the history of national trails establishment and issues of maintenance from two aspects-the cultural meaning of ancient trails and the exploratory analysis about coexistence of tourism development.
