摘要
本研究以2004年到2011年LPGA巡迴賽8年內1230位參賽選手的年齡及其間224場比賽獲得冠軍的選手年齡分佈情形進行分析。藉以了解目前LPGA參賽選手的年齡的分佈情形及變化趨向，並且藉由分析獲得冠軍選手的年齡，探討選手達到最佳運動表現的年齡。研究中將選手依年齡分成4組（25歳（含）以下的參賽選手設為1組，26歳到30歳的選手設為一組，31歳到35歳設為一組，36歳（含）以上的選手設為一組，共4組）。結果發現目前LPGA的比賽中，選手在22歲已達到最佳運動表現的年齡，獲得冠軍選手以及參賽的選手都有年輕化的趨勢，因此對於有天份的球員或是以職業選手為目標的球員，應提早參與業餘的比賽，多利用業餘時期磨練球技以及經驗，才能儘早適應職業球員的環境。

The main purpose of this study was to analyze the age discrepancy among champion golfers who competed in LPGA tournaments from 2004 to 2011; thus, this study enabled us to understand LPGA golfers' age distribution and confirm the best age to peak in their performances. The study divided golfers into four groups including under 25, 26-30, 31-35, and over 36. The results indicated that all LPGA golfers reached their peak performances at the age of 22. As a result, the age distribution of champion golfers went down drastically. In conclusion, for golfers who intend to be a professional player in the future are suggested to participate the amateur tournaments in their earlier age to sharpen their skills and gain more competition experiences.
