Despite the significance of rural revitalization for studies, relatively fewer studies address the effects of the attitudes toward to strategies for rural revitalization on place attachment and the intention to support rural revitalization from residents' aspects. This study draws new insights by examining the effects of attitudes and place attachment resident perceived on intention to support rural revitalization; and the effects of attitudes on place attachment resident perceived. Data was collected by questionnaire survey at Yibin, Sichuan province, China and a total of 372 valid samples were received, which yield a valid respond rate 93%. Findings show that both attitudes and place attachment resident perceived have positive effects on intention to support rural revitalization; and attitudes can positively influence place attachment. Finally, several implications, such the infrastructure should be improved and maintained by the destination manager and firms, concerning the management of the intention to support rural revitalization were met.
