To a large extent, China learned about Korea via culture communications with Japan in the late Qing Dynasty. Centering on the books concerning Korea imported from Japan, this paper analyses in a comprehensive manner the main contents, translations and transmissions of these books, to present the images of Korea in East Asia culture representations field at the turn of the 20th century. While Korea was commented as part of East Asia, she didn't present herself much in her own books, which is worthy of thinking in terms of its underlying culture and productive power of knowledge.
