At out-patient-department, fever accompanied with cervical lymphadenitis was one of the most common chief complaints. It was often recognized as bacterial infection and antibiotics were administered. However, the patients with Kawasaki disease may have cervical lymphadenitis. The fever could not subside by use of antibiotics or antipyretics. Kawasaki disease might be complicated with coronary artery aneurysm, myocardial infarction or even sudden death if no appropriate management was dopted. Herein we presented one case and discussed the management principle.
