There has been a paucity of research addressing the creativity-related issues of females majoring in science and engineering. Through the qualitative method of case study, the present study aimed to explore the ways females majoring in science and engineering improved their creativity. Data collection involved semi-structured, in-depth interviews, document review, and observation. With within- and between-case analyses, five major themes emerged: formal and informal schooling, reading literature, visiting exhibitions, self-relaxation, and interpersonal interaction. The research participants made use of these five ways to enhance their creativity in daily lives. The themes uncovered were discussed in the context of the existing literature and the relevant suggestions were presented.
