創客教育對國小五年級學生創造力與空間能力影響之探討-以3D列印課程為例

The Study on the Effect of Maker Education on the Creativity and Spatial Abilities of Fifth Graders-3D Printing Courses

摘要


創客近年來在國內快速傳播與開展,而臺灣教育也搭上這波熱潮,創客教育更在中小學階段大力推廣,而3D列印技術逐漸成熟,創客也突破了創意及想像的限制,帶來更多的發揮空間。本研究旨在探討現階段在各級學校被運用於創客教育中比例最多的3D列印課程,對國小五年級學生在空間能力、創造力上之幫助。本研究以109年桃園市之國小五年級學生為對象並採用立意取樣,包含參與「桃園創客聯盟」伙伴的學校及未參與「桃園創客聯盟」之學校,共獲得326份有效問卷,以空間能力量表及新編創造思考測驗做研究工具。研究結果顯示不同性別之國小五年級學生在空間能力並無差異,但女生有良好的促進效果,而在創造力部份為女生表現明顯優於男生;不同創客教育程度之國小五年級學生在空間能力之結果為深化創客教育程度學生較無創客教育學生好,但基礎程度雖較無創客教育學生好,但未達顯著,而在創造力也同為深化創客教育程度較無創客教育學生好,基礎程度對比無創客教育學生較好但未達顯著。最後依據研究結果提出結論與具體建議,以作為後續研究者參考。

Maker Education is all the rage now. As the global Maker Movement becomes more and more prevalent, Maker Education was promoted to schools at all stages in Taiwan recently. Moreover, because 3D printing technology is gradually developed, Makers break the limitations of creativity and imagination; then bring more room for development. The purpose of this study was to identify how 3D printing, one of the most common pieces of equipment that has been used in Maker Education in Taiwan, has influenced the creativity and spatial abilities of fifth graders. The study adopted questionnaire and purposive sampling to investigate whether 3D printing education helped students with their creativity and spatial abilities. The research tools were ''Spatial Ability Scale'' and ''Creativity Ability Scale''. The questionnaires were administered to the fifth graders in Taoyuan City. The results show that different genders of fifth graders had no significant effects in spatial ability, but girls made more improvement than boys. And in the part of creativity, girls had better significant effects than boys. Different maker education degrees of fifth graders had significant effects in creativity ability. The advanced learners who had degree show better significant effects than ones who didn't have. In the part of creativity, the advanced degree also had better significant effects than no maker education degree. Finally, specific suggestions are put forward based on the research results, which can be used as a reference for the researchers, teachers and follow-up researchers of the school, relevant government units, and elementary school maker education.
