摘要

運動人類學術屬性偏重於文化（社會）人類學的領域。文化人類學則是人類學的分支學科。從最廣泛的意義來說，這個領域包括文化多樣性研究、文化普遍性探索、社會結構、象徵主義闡釋，以及大量的相關研究。因此，歐美地區，運動人類學論文多數為文化（社會）人類學者投入撰寫。然而，亞洲的運動人類學論文多數為體育與運動學者投入撰寫，並且定期由亞洲運動人類學學會舉辦研討會。整體來說，運動人類學領域仍有待東西方學者們努力發展與深耕。

The anthropology of sport is a kind of cultural (social) anthropology. The cultural anthropology is a branch of anthropology. From the broadest perspectives, the diversity of cultural field, the exploration of cultural universality, social structure, symbolism, interpretation, and a great number of relevant studies included. Therefore, the majority dissertations of the anthropology of sport were written by cultural (social) anthropologists in Europe and America. However, most dissertations of that were written by physical education and sports scholars in Asia and the conferences were held by Asain Society of Sport Anthropology in regular. All in all, the anthropology of sport needs the further cooperation of eastern and western scholars in the future.
