目的:本研究目的為探索大專運技系學生的生活困擾經驗。方法:為質性訪談,以立意抽樣方式選取某大專的運技系學生8名與運技系教練2名,對此10位參與者進行一對一訪談以深入瞭解其生活困擾經驗。訪談資料依陳向明(2002)類屬分析法進行分析。結果:資料分析結果分所知覺的要求,所產生的困擾與無法成功因應困擾的結果三部分。所知覺的要求包括運動表現、長時間的訓練、自主性與生涯定向。當運技系學生面對這些重要要求時,可能會產生的困擾包括五個面向:生活適應、訓練與競賽、受傷復健、人際關係與生涯規劃。如果無法成功因應這些困擾,將會出現情緒低落、缺乏練習動機的現象。結論:本研究的發現與Smith(1986)在運動倦怠的認知情意模式中所提的運動倦怠發展歷程相符,研究結果提供運技系諮商輔導人員參考,增強其概念化運技系學生困擾的能力,協助運技系學生能更成功地從困境中成長。
Purpose: to explore the life difficulties of Collegiate Student-Athlete in Athletic Performance Department (CSA-APD). Methods: The study used in-depth interviews to explore life distress experience of 8 CSA-APD and opinions of 2 teachers from one university in Taiwan. Data were analyzed using categorical analysis suggested by Chen (2002). Results: Three main themes were created: the perceived demands, distress caused by demands, and results of maladaptive coping. The perceived demands included sport performance, long training hours, autonomy and career decision. When facing these four main demands, CSA-APD experienced distress in five dimensions: adaptation to university life, training and competition, injury and rehabilitation, interpersonal relationship and career planning. If they couldn't cope with these distresses successfully, they might result in emotional exhaustion and lack of motivation. Conclusions: The findings were consistent with athletic burnout development proposed by Smith's (1986) cognitive-affective model of athletic burnout. The findings also provide college counselors information that increases their knowledge and enhances their conceptualization skills so that they can work more effectively with CSA-APD.
