運動績優生大學就學適應歷程及學校支持—以臺灣大學為例

College Adaptation and School Support of Elite Student Athletes: An Example of National Taiwan University

摘要


隨著進入大學就讀一般科系的運動績優生有逐年增加的趨勢,各大專院校也紛紛建立相關課業與生活輔導機制,盼選手能順利地適應大學生活,使其得以延續其運動生命之外,亦能開創其第二專長。本研究旨在探討國立臺灣大學運動績優生就學適應情形,及學校輔導現狀之實際助益,最後針對本研究結果提出改善建議。藉由半結構開放式深度訪談法,訪談九位在學運動績優生、二位體育室老師兼任行政主管及二位現任運動代表隊教練,共計十三人。透過瞭解受訪者的就學情況與親身經歷,分析運動績優生就學期間所面臨的各項挑戰,以及學校輔導資源的實際助益。結果發現,(一)運動績優生在就讀或選擇校系前,對科系與校隊運作模式並不十分瞭解。(二)入學後的訓練及競賽表現大多不理想,亦無更高之目標設定。(三)就讀後對於環境,包含學業、訓練與生活等因未能順利適應而產生心理壓力。(四)學校輔導資源支持,包含教學上、訓練上及生活輔導等未能充分獲得實質上之幫助。本研究盼能協助校方改善運動績優生之適應情形,並提供更完整的輔導機制,幫助運動績優生發揮潛能,以及作為同性質綜合型國立大學及政府相關單位實施招生與輔導之參考。

Along with the increasing number of elite student athletes entering non-physical education department in college, colleges have established relevant academic and life counseling, hoping elite student athletes can adapt to college life better. In addition to continuing their sports life, elite student athletes can also develop second expertise. The purpose of this study was to discuss the adaptation of elite student athletes in National Taiwan University, and the implementation and result of the resources that school provided. Finally, suggestions for improvement can be proposed based on this study. This study adopts the in-depth interview method, interviewing nine elite student athletes and four current coaches of the sports team, for a total of thirteen interviewees. By understanding personal experience of interviewees, challenges faced by elite student athletes, as well as the benefits of school resources can be analyzed. This study find that: (1) elite student athletes did not fully understand the department and the sports team before choosing a school; (2) their training and competition performance was not satisfactory, and there was no higher goal setting after they entering school; (3) for the environmental adaptation, they have enormous pressure because they were unable to get appropriate assistance including studies, training and life; (4) for resource support including studies, training and life counseling, were fail to obtain sufficient assistance. This study hopes to help National Taiwan University improve the adaptation of elite student athletes, also provide more information for students who may enter in the future. Furthermore, this study can be used as a reference for enrollment and counseling for comprehensive university and government related units.
