This study focuses on the integration and effectiveness of utilizing choreographing symbol techniques in teaching the choreography of cheerleading dance. The study employs the action research method, inviting 140 7^(th) grade students in Chang-sing Junior High School and a teacher who has no prior dance training as research participants. Both the researcher and the teacher practiced the new pedagogy in the classes for 10 weeks and the total procedure of this study is 15 weeks. The results of this study are as follows: (1)Using the new pedagogy, students were able to complete the choreography of cheerleading dance. (2)Using this systematic pedagogy, non-dance or non-cheerleader major teachers were able to comprehend the teaching techniques which are required to assist the students to choreograph cheerleading dance.
