新興科技融入STEM教學之研究-以六龜高中執行科技部高瞻計畫為例

A Study on Emerging Technology Integrated with the STEM Education-Take Lieu-Guei High School as an Example in executing the High Scope Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology

摘要


本研究以六龜高中106-107年執行科技部高瞻計畫為例,研究目的以提出一個整合新興科技之STEM教學單元。藉此協助國高中發展創新科技相關課程,提昇國高中科技教育的品質。計畫執行以六龜高中與科大及國中端共同規劃推動由下而上輔導式的高瞻計畫。本計畫執行重點為將STEM教學模式帶入國高中課程,觸發學生對科技、工程、科學與數學的整合學習,並導引學生達到科學探究興趣與問題解決能力的提升。在課程主題選擇上,本研究對象為六龜高級中學,所處位置的關係並追求課程在地化及科技化趨勢,及配合全球珍惜生態環境的維護之國際趨勢,需要教導學生將新興科技融入環境感測的STEM課程,讓高中生具備更多探究、分析、歸納、設計與量測等綜合的學習歷程,以建構良好的整合與應用的能力。因此選定新興科技中的「自然環境感測技術課程」作為融入原有課程的內容,更具重要性。因此本研究,單元中以「自然環境感測」融入STEM教學,內容包括:溫度的感測、濕度的感測和PM2.5的測量。教師藉由這些知能與大自然環境的改變息息相關的知識的教學,提出符合STEM教學之教材設計與改進計劃;學生則藉由教師的教學與教材設計,進行科學探究學習。本研究之研究執行上為進一步了解STEM教學對於學生學習經驗的自我的感受與影響。研究執行上採用質量並重模式,研究工具除了由科大端所研發之科學探究學習興趣問卷及科學探究問題解決能力作為量化資料收集外,研究者亦自編訪談大綱,深度訪談、觀察、回饋表等多元來源資料進行研究。

This study takes Lieu-Guei High School as an example when it executed the High Scope Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology during 2017 to 2018. It aims to bring up a STEM teaching unit integrated with emerging technology to assist high schools in developing new technological curriculums, and then to enhance the quality of high schools' technological education. Bottom-up counseling is conducted in this program which includes Cheng-Shui University, Lieu-Guei Senior High School and Jia-Xian Junior High School. This program will introduce STEM teaching mode to the curriculums of both junior and senior high schools to activate students' integrated learning on technology, engineering, science and math, and, therefore, enhance their science-studying interest and improve their problem-solving ability. This study that blended natural environmental sensing to STEM education includes temperature sensing, moisture sensing and the measurement of PM2.5. Processed with these knowledge related to the nature, teachers submit a project on the design of teaching materials and improvement according to STEM education. Students conduct science inquiry learning by those teaching materials offered from their teachers. In order to understand more of STEM teaching mode to the self-feeling and influence about studying experience, the study put emphasis not only on quantity but also on quality. For the former, except for the questionnaires of science inquiry-oriented learning and problem-solving abilities, both developed by Cheng-Shui University, the researchers also used self-compiled interview outline to collect materials such as in-depth interview, observation and feedback forms.
