全球化時代下之科技教育課程改革
The Curriculum Change of Technology Education in the Globalization Era
摘要
本文旨在探討全球化時代下台灣科技教育課程之發展方向，主要透過台灣科技教育的發展歷程省思台灣科技教育界之美國化意識氛圍，並於反思過程中提出台灣科技教育之課程發展雛議。環顧全球經濟發展，美國儼然成為世界經濟霸主，美國掌握著高科技、資金雄厚的跨國企業及先進的軍事投資成為世界的領導著，而全球化的主要現象之一便是美國化。台灣從美援時代開始接受美國的經濟援助，美援結束後其所造成的內化作用自此影響著台灣的各方發展，反映在教育制度上是近年來推行的多元入學方案、綜合高中、社區高中、學年學分制等美式措施，未經在地化的結果造成弊病叢生、各界撻伐之聲四起。而台灣科技教育的發展亦以美國為導向，從課程名稱的轉變、教學目標的轉向及教育理念的轉折上可見一斑。在課程實施多年後，外界甚至於教育主管當局對於科技教育的發展仍無法有一清晰明確的概念，且在科技教育教學現場，亦仍見不同典範同時進行的場景。雖然全球化是一不可避免之趨勢，援用國外科技課程「站在巨人的肩膀上向前看」亦為一可行方案，但在大時代潮流中國內科技教育界似應深思台灣科技教育的發展定位及配合國家科技政策之走向，以「全球在地化」的精神再造科技教育新契機。

This article is to discuss the curriculum development of Taiwan technology education in this globalization era. We are through examining carefully in Taiwan technology education history and raise the suggestion of education development to attach this subject target. In global economic development, USA is an overlord of the world. She is not only a leader of the world in the high technology field but also a leader of advanced military investigation. And thus, the major phenomenon of globalization is a kind of USA world. Taiwan started to have USA economic support from a very early age, thus USA effect is highly impact to Taiwan internal development till now. Including education, such as diversify entry program, comprehensive high school, community high school and academic credit system which is all imitate from USA. We can also have a very clear picture from education course changing, educational goal changing and education concept changing to see how the USA effect impact to Taiwan. We can see sometimes even the programs executing for a long time, our education department high management still can not having a clear concept in technology education. All through globalization is a trend and to imitate other country's technology education course seems like a workable idea, but we still need to stand in Taiwan itself education development, national technology policy and base on ”glocalization” to create a new development chance of Taiwan technology education.
