台灣地區大學及碩士準畢業生就業力自我認知

Self-Perception of Employability of Prospective Graduate Students in Higher Education in Taiwan

摘要


在高等教育與職業之關係的討論中,畢業生的就業力(employability)逐漸成為一個新的討論焦點。教育與勞力市場連結的相關議題,受到許多國家關注,並成為高等教育改革的重要方向。有鑑於社會大眾對於大專以上畢業生是否具備就業能力的議題相當關心,本研究目的在探討台灣大專以上畢業生,在畢業前對於自身所具備之職場就業力,包括能力、態度和信心等的自我認知狀態。本研究將使用次級資料分析法,以「台灣高等教育資料庫」96學年度,大專、碩士畢業生畢業前之調查數據進行分析,該調查數據乃採全國普查,所得之研究結果預期將能有效達成研究目的。 除描述性統計的資料分析外,本研究將進一步將針對不同性別、不同學校類型、不同學制、不同學位之準畢業生在「職場所需一般能力」、「職場所需專業能力」、「工作態度」、「職涯規劃與信心」等四個能力構面進行比較分析。希望能對大學及碩士準畢業生們的就業力自我認知符合狀況做現況探討及差異性分析。本研究之成果將可提供大學在校生面對未來職場時自我能力的提昇方向及生涯規劃,以及學校相關單位對學生職場就業力的加強培養課程安排提供參考。

In discussion about the relation between higher education and vocation, the graduates' employability has gradually become a new hot issue. In recent years, higher education in Taiwan has been growing vigorously, the number of universities and colleges has grown from 137 to 164 and the graduates from colleges and universities had risen in recent years. Causing the society are deeply concern the students graduated from colleges and universities have the employability or not, the study is aimed to identify the employability of graduates from Taiwan higher education, including ability, attitude, and confidence. The study will apply secondary data analysis to analyze the data from questionnaires gathered from Taiwan Integrated Postsecondary Education Database, filled in by college students and master degree students who prepare to graduate in 2008. Besides descriptive statistics, we will use the t-test and one-way analysis of variance to compare the difference between the students’ employability by themselves. Hopefully the findings of the study will provide students with direction to improve their own ability and direction for their career planning, and provide related institutions with guidance to better arrange the curriculum for development and improvement of students' employability.
