The main purpose of this study is to develop the junior high school students' concept of stages of biotechnology assessment tools, to investigate junior high school students the concept of biotechnology status of knowledge and to provide the future of biotechnology curriculum design reference. In this study, the concept of bio-indicators, Ru-Fen Chuang (2006), was used as the basis for scientific and technological research. Through literature review and expert review, the first draft of ”junior high school students the concept of bio-technology assessment examination questions” was developed. According to the scale of schools in Kaohsiung City, a large scale, medium and small schools, were selected as a pre-test object. A total of 190 questionnaires were issued; 181 questionnaires were usable. The effective recovery rate is 95%. School will be in accordance with the classical test theory of the revised title, or delete questions, and then the preparation of a formal examination questions.
