石化業的節能作法與成效

The energy-saving measures and achievements of the petrochemical industry

本文以五項主要石化產品,乙烯、乙二醇、氯乙烯、苯乙烯、純對苯二甲酸,分析其自2010年迄今的節能措施與成效,以了解石化業在節能方面的成果。石化業節能措施可以分為四個方面:製程改善、設備改善、操作優化、公用設施。其中最重要的是製程改善,例如苯乙烯中的乙基苯反應器由氣相改為液相反應器,乙二醇以多效蒸餾的方式純化,對苯二甲酸的醋酸回收蒸餾法改用共沸蒸餾法,都能明顯反映在單位耗能降低上。這五項石化產品,從2010年至今,由單位耗能來看,節能最高者苯乙烯為22.3%;最少的為氯乙烯為4.7%。乙烯、乙二醇、純對苯二甲酸單位耗能則分別減少:7.8%,9.0%,19.4%。總節能量估計每年465,500公秉油當量。

This study has evaluated the energy consumption of several petrochemical products: ethylene, ethylene glycol, vinyl chloride, styrene monomer, purified terephthalic acid. We also examined their efforts since 2010 and summarized their practice works on energy saving. The practical method of energy saving in petrochemical plants can be divided into four classifications: process revamping, facilities improvement, operating improvement, utilities. The best results are through process improvement. The specific energy consumption of styrene monomer has reduced 22.3% since 2010, and 4.7% for vinyl chloride, 7.8% for ethylene, 9.0% for ethylene glycol, 19.4 % for purified terephthalic acid. The energy savings are estimated at about 465,500 kLOE per year.
