摘要


金屬樹脂模具經常被視為一項新產品於研發階段,運用塑膠射出成型進行少量生產之快速模具。然而金屬樹脂模具壽命通常受限於金屬樹脂複合材料之機械性質。因此,本研究於金屬樹脂內添加二氧化鋯粉末,改善金屬樹脂之機械性質。研究結果發現,金屬樹脂模具之機械性質明顯被提升,降低塑膠射出成品之表面粗糙度上升的幅度。此外,如與傳統金屬樹脂模具製作方法進行比較,本研究可以節省快速模具製作成本約77%。

Epoxy resin mold is frequently used as the rapid tooling for low-volume production of samples by plastic injection molding at a new product development stage. However, the lifespan of epoxy resin mold is limited by the mechanical properties of the epoxy resin composites. In this study, zirconia (ZrO_2) particles were added into the epoxy resin composites for enhancing the mechanical properties of the epoxy resin mold. It was found that the mechanical properties of the epoxy resin mold can be successfully enhanced, leading to the reduction of the increase of surface roughness of the plastic injection parts. The cost savings of about 77% can be obtained compared to the conventional moldmaking method.
