後疫情時期馬拉松賽事發展之趨勢

The Developmental Trend of Marathon Events in the Post-Epidemic Period

摘要


新型冠狀病毒(簡稱COVID-19)自2019年12月首現至今影響全球產業已逾兩年,整體經濟市場不斷地萎縮及崩解,其中運動產業也同樣蒙受其害,綜觀各國多數大型體育賽會或運動賽事被迫停賽或延期,包含臺灣馬拉松賽事亦然。爰此,本研究透過統整相關文獻及歸納評析資料之方式,分別從政策面;舉辦面與參與面等三方面,探討賽事受到的影響程度及如何參考國外經驗求新求變與疫情共存。全球在疫情肆虐之下,連帶重創各國經濟體、產業市場及人與人之間的關係,迄今仍嚴峻。本文將從國外馬拉松賽事如何在疫情下生存並開創新局,臺灣馬拉松活動可借鏡他山之石,並從舉辦型態轉型朝賽事多樣化發展、將科技運用導入以創造新經濟價值及加強全民健康意識以提升運動風氣等三方向來回應未來後疫情時期國內馬拉松發展的新趨勢。

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has affected the global industry for more than two years since it first appeared in December 2019. Along with this pandemic, the entire global market has been shrinking and disintegrating. The sports industry has also suffered from it. For example, most mega sports events around the world were forced to be suspended or postponed. Likewise, most marathon events cannot be held in Taiwan, so only few events that used innovative technology can transform "real marathon" into "online marathons". Therefore, the purposes of this study were to discuss the influences of the pandemic and to find new solution to coexist with this virus by learning the experiences from advanced countries. To reach these purposes, we reviewed the relevant literature and analyzed the related data from several popular international marathon events through three aspects which include (1) the policy aspect; (2) the organization aspect; and (3) the participation aspect. The results of the study show that there are three ways to react to new trends in future event development: (1) to transform and diversify the marathon event organizations; (2) to implement related technology to create new economic value; (3) to improve the health awareness of the whole people to enhance the routine exercise behavior.
