明代梵學的理解與傳播-《悉曇經傳》的音學理論及其對《音聲紀元》、《等切元聲》的影響

The Comprehension and Dissemination of Siddhāṃ in the Ming Dynasty: A Study of the Phonological Theory of Xitan Jingzhuan and Its Influences on Yinsheng Jiyuan and Dengqie Yuansheng

摘要


此文以趙宧光《悉曇經傳》作為研究,闡明如何將梵學知識概念轉化為傳統音韻理論,並考察《音聲紀元》、《等切元聲》徵引《悉曇經傳》的具體情況,藉以追溯明代梵學概念的傳播。《悉曇經傳》堪稱明末記載梵學知識的重要文獻,透過考察此書的音學理論,將有助於瞭解明代等韻學家如何理解梵學知識理論。在這樣的基礎下,可知《音聲紀元》曾以徵引及轉錄方式承襲《悉曇經傳》,而《等切元聲》的知識背景皆源自《悉曇經傳》,並以傳統音韻觀點進行評述,可視為融合梵學理論後的延伸。

Through an analysis of Zhao Yiguang's 趙宧光 Xitan Jingzhuan 悉曇經傳, this paper aims to show how Siddhāṃ comprehended and converted into the concepts of Chinese historical phonology. I also investigate Yinsheng Jiyuan 音聲紀元and Dengqie Yuansheng 等切元聲 quoted the conditions of Xitan Jingzhuan, trying to understand the spread routes and the transition of the Siddhāṃ knowledge. Xitan Jingzhuan is an important knowledge of Siddhāṃ literature in the late Ming, it will help us understand how Siddhāṃ knowledge converted into the concepts of Chinese historical phonology by means of the thought of composition and phonological theory. Moreover, this study retraces the comprehensive influences in Ming Dynasty after Siddhāṃ was spread into China.
