大專校院專業舞蹈教育困境之探討

Current Issues of Professional Dance Education at the College Level in Taiwan: A Qualitative Approach

摘要


本研究主要探討大專校院專業舞蹈教育之困境。採深度訪談法,擇定臺灣六所大學校院舞蹈科系八位大學教師為訪談對象。研析後發現,師資結構方面,呈現理論專業師資不足、師資需要繼續培養與教師教學負擔增加;課程特色方面,呈現課程發展受制於師資、專業教材統整待增補與專業認證制度待研發;學生發展方面,呈現學生理論人文素養待提升、就業市場待拓展與修習教程耗費心力;教育推展方面,主要呈現為招生策略有待調整、私校招生愈形困難、舞蹈普及教育待補強與經費補助漸減等項。本研究發現諸項問題皆值得正視,並依受訪者之意見,提出建議,希望有助舞蹈專業教育在教學品質、師資、學生發展與教育推展四個面向的提升。

This study aimed to investigate the current issue of professional dance education at the college level in Taiwan. With the use of face-to-face interview, eight long-term dance educators who have been teaching in the Department of Dance from six colleges in Taiwan participated in the present study. The results demonstrated that from the perspective of teachers' quality, since qualified teachers were insufficient, teachers in such field were suggested to receive continuing education and their teaching load should be decreased. From the perspective of curriculum, since the development of course content was limited, qualified teachers were suggested to be promoted; meanwhile, teaching materials and certification systems should be developed in the future. Concerning students' future career, the research results indicated that dance majors needed to promote their theoretical knowledge, art as well as literary awareness, and employement qualifications. Moreover, few chances in the employment market for the students who spent much time on their teaching training education were revealed. From the promotion of dance education, this study showed that recruiting methods needed some adjustments since private colleges tended to face the problems of student recruitment and the reduction of subsidization of Ministry of Education for general dance education. Based on dance teachers' opinions at the college level, it was hoped that teaching quality, teachers' credibility, students' development and the promotion of dance education could be improved to some extent.
