優秀運動員選擇升學管道與職涯規劃之探討:以2011年青少年桌球國手為例

A Study to Explore Selection of Education Advancement Path and Career Development for Elite Athletes A Case of Teenage National Players of Table Tennis in 2011

摘要


目的:優秀運動員只專注運動競技場上的表現,而忽略涉獵其他領域學習對未來的趨勢及職涯規劃未做準備,一直受到國人關注的議題值得深入探討。方法:本研究採普查法,研究對象為2011 年青少年男女桌球國手共24 名,透過描述性統計、獨立樣本t 檢定、單因子變異數、相關分析、多元逐步迴歸等統計分析。結果:選擇升學管道以「體育績優甄審」最受青睞,並希望學校提供多元化職涯規劃資訊及課程;學業成績「中等」於「各校獨立招生」的意願,顯著高於學業成績「中下」的選手,每日訓練量「4.1~6 小時」選手,在職涯規劃顯著高於訓練「4 小時以下」選手;另外,選擇升學管道與職涯規劃達顯著相關,且預測變項雙方影響為正向。結論:顯示目前當務之急不僅在於運動組訓,應提供適當的學業學習環境,安排職涯規劃課程與教育之同步成長,方能幫助選手職場生命延續與培植未來就業能力的最佳方式。

Purpose: The issue, excellent athletes only pay attention on their perfomace on sports arena but ignore their other study fileds for preareation of future trend and career plan, has brought focus to people and is worthwhile to have a further exploration; Methods: This study adopted the census method and took a total of 24 teenage male and female national players of table tennis in 2011 as research objectives, of which results were analyzed by statistical analysis like descriptive statistics, independent sample T-test, Anova variance analysis, correlation analysis, multiple stepwise regression and so on. Results: Regarding selection of education advacemeent path, the “selection of sports merit entrance” is the most popular among the research objectives, also, hope schools can provide diversified career planning information and courses; players with academic achievement in “medium” show significantly higher intension to “independent students-recruiting of schools” than those with academic achievement in “lower”; players with daily training amount of “4.1 to 6 hours” show significantly higher intension to “career development” than those with daily training amount of “less than 4 hours;” in addition, correlation relationship bwteen selection of education advancement path and career development is significant, and the effect of prediction variables to each other is positive. Conclusion: implying the current urgent matters are not just liminted in sports training but should also provide appropriate academic learning environment and arrange the synchronous growth of career planning curriculum and education to be the best ways to help players exending their caeer time and cultivating their future employability.
