應用植生復育技術處理戴奧辛/呋喃之可行性

Feasibility of Phytoremediation of Dioxins and Furans-Contaminated Soil

摘要


本研究選擇五種受測植物(大花咸豐草、銀合歡、培地茅、海雀稗及白竹仔菜)以溫室栽培的方式進行評估,探討植物對於土壤中PCDD/Fs的吸收和傳輸,以及植物根部對根圈微生物的影響。研究結果顯示在低濃度PCDD/Fs下,受測植物的生長未受毒性影響,但中、高濃度的PCDD/Fs,會對於植物生長高度,產生明顯的抑制現象,部分植物甚至發生黃化及枯死的現象。植物體的PCDD/Fs濃度分析結果顯示,根部所吸收的PCDD/Fs濃度,明顯大於地上部的PCDD/Fs濃度。種植物的土壤總菌落數高於未種植物土壤,顯示植物根部有助於促進根圈微生物活性之功能。受污染土壤與植物根部及地上部中PCDD/Fs同源物組成,具高度正相關性,pearson相關檢定係數在0.958-1.000之間,顯示土壤中PCDD/Fs同源物之種類及濃度,係影響植物體內PCDD/Fs同源物分布之主要因素,而且植體內之PCDD/Fs係以植物萃取為吸收途徑。整體而言,培地茅具抗毒性、逆境及生長快速等優勢,適合作為植生復育應用之候選植物種。

The purpose of this study was to identify plant species capable of cleaning up PCCD/Fs-contaminated soil and to assess their remediation properties. Five selected plant species (Bidenspilosa, Leucaenaglauca, Vetiver, Paspalumvaginatumand Commelinadiffusa) were cultivated at the 1kg contaminated soil per pot for 60 days in the greenhouse. The results indicate that increasing concentration of PCDD/Fs, phytotoxicity would clearly cause etiolation on the plants. The roots of plant have the capability to promote rhizosphere microbial activity. The PCDD/Fs concentration of the roots of the plant is significantly higher than the shoot. The PCDD/Fscogenerscomposition of the soils, roots and shoots have high positive correlation. The pearson correlation coefficient is between 0.958 and 1.000. The uptake mechanism of plant in our test is phytoextraction. The present study suggests that the applications of Vetiver, which are able to resist the phytotoxicity and highgrowth speed, are promising candidates to be used for phytoremediation applications.
