吐蕃時期敦煌莫高窟一五八石窟研究

A Research on No. 158 Stone Cave during the Tufang Period

摘要


本文研究主要是以素以佛教藝術聞名的敦煌莫高窟為研究對象。而會選擇吐蕃時期之一五八窟作為分析主軸,主要是因為佛陀涅槃之美學思想,吸引了作者想寫此論文的動機。中唐時期的敦煌也稱吐蕃時期(781-848年)。在唐朝興盛時,強大的吐蕃王朝也於此時在西部興起。同時也帶來了多彩多姿的豐富的密教佛教時代。而本文研究之時間就限制於吐蕃統治時期的六十七年。分就吐蕃時期的敦煌統治及粟特人與敦煌莫高窟一五八窟之關係作分析討論。而第一五八窟是吐蕃時期規模最大的洞窟。因此筆者遂以一五八窟涅槃佛教藝術為主要為文重點和分析做為本文之研究脈絡,而探討出一五八窟之佛教藝術之美。

The purpose of this research is to deliberately study on Duhuang (敦煌) Mogao Caves-a stone cave famous for its Buddhistic art. The aesthetic thinking is what motivates me to choose the no. 158 stone cave during the Tufang Period for this analytical study. The so-called ”Tufang Period”(781-848 A.D.) is the simultaneous Dunhuang during the mid-Tang Dynasty. When Tang Dynasty was at its peak, Tufang was also rising to its west. This is as well the period when Esoteric Buddhism's diversified art was brought in. This study solely and only focuses on those 67 years of the Tufang regime. In this research, I will elaborate not only on the ruling of Duhuang, but also the relationship between Soot people (粟特人) and no. 158 stone cave in the Mogao Caves during the Tufang Period. Owing to no. 158 stone cave's being the largest stone cave during the Tufang Period, I will hence use the Nirvana Buddhistic Art as the main source of analytical research.
