The purpose of this study lied in examining the implementation of the fundraising campaigns in the higher educational institutions. In the literature review, a well-structured fundraising organization, CASE, is mentioned. Latter the commonly applied fundraising techniques were examined and a list of the comparisons of the fundraising techniques was also provided. The research was an exploratory one, therefore programmed sampling and interviews were applied to collect data. Six universities were interviewed about their fundraising endeavor. The findings and suggestions were (1) our government should facilitate the higher educational institutions to undertake fundraising activities; (2) the educational institutions should be aware of the significance of the effects of fundraising campaigns and transmit the concepts to related targets; (3) some improvements of fundraising techniques can be made in order to meet the ultimate goal.
