組織特徵、行動特性與競爭策略反應之研究

摘要


本研究主要探討行動者╱反應者之組織特徵、行動特性及競爭反應之間的關聯性,並以國內電信業者競爭非常激烈的期間(1998~1999年),所蒐集的資料進行實證分析。研究結果發現,組織的規模對其所採行行動之攻擊強度、可見性及類型具有顯著影響,行動特性與競爭反應之關聯性在行動電話系統產業中確實存在,若遭受對手競爭性行動的影響非常大,將會使得反應者更快、更積極地採取反擊行為,但此反擊行為與競爭性行動的相似程度將會很高;若面對之競爭性行動的廣告出現次數非常高,亦會使得反應者更快、更積極地採取反擊行為,且此反擊行為與競爭性行動的相似程度亦會很高;另外所面對之競爭性行動的類型不同,亦會使得反應者所採取之反擊行為的若干特性有所差異。本研究結論可提供廠商在採取某行動時,考量其可能引發之各種反應的依據,同時根據此訊息行動者在推測其行動所可能引發之反應行為的特性時,除須考量行動本身所可能造成競爭反應的差異外,更應視反應者的特徵而定,來預測其所可能採行之反應行為。

This study is to explore the relationships among organizational characteristics, action characteristics and response characteristics of actors and responders. We collected data form 1998 to 1999, while the interactive condition is very competitive in mobile telephone industry. We find organizational size will significantly influence on their action characteristics. The connection between action characteristics and response characteristics truly exists in the mobile phone system industry. If the bigger the influence suffer, the faster and more positively adopts the counter-attack behavior, and this two actions would be vary similar; otherwise, the reactor has difference in several characteristics of counter-attack behavior in the different types of competition. Above the information can apply in the management. It may provide a company when it takes some actions; the company can predict its possible initiation each kind of response.
