台灣社工員協助婚姻暴力受害女性案主經驗之研究：一個人際取向的觀點

An Exploratory Study on Intimate Partner Violence Work with Female Victims in Taiwan: A Relational View

摘要

本研究以質性研究方法探索15位年齡在27-50歲、工作年資在2-30年的女性家庭暴力防治社工員，協助婚暴受害女性處理婚姻暴力的過程經驗。結果顯示，受訪社工員協助的女性案主長期處在缺乏感情交流的環境，因此發展出因應缺乏感情交流環境的策略，這些策略雖然讓她們在受暴的環境中持續生活，卻也逐漸讓自己發展出其它困難；環境中權力較大者常讓婚暴受害女性產生自己需要為受暴問題負責的戚受；如果婚暴受害女性在這個過程再次經驗到外在環境的冷漠，容易再次退縮，讓協助過程更加困難；協助婚暴受害女性的過程中，社工員與案主發展內在情感交流的專業關係，案主會在這樣的關係中開放自己、討論進而解決問題。根據研究結果，最後對社工實務提出建議。

This qualitative study aimed to explore the views of domestic violence workers regarding helping female victims deal with intimate partner violence in Taiwan. Fifteen female domestic violence workers with minimum 2 years of working experience, aged 27 to 50 years, were interviewed. The research findings indicated that female victims all stayed in un-empathic relational contexts before receiving helps and developed strategies of disconnection to cope with traumatic intimate partner relationships. The strategies of disconnection successfully helped female victims stay in the relationships with the abusers however female victims also developed other difficulties by adopting these strategies, for example difficulties in dealing with relational issues. In addition, the ones with more power in female victims' contexts, for example their mothers-in-law and their intimate partners, often utilized their power to make victims believe they were the ones who should be responsible for causing violence. Moreover, when female victims experienced un-empathic responses from police officers or other persons while trying to transform their lives, these un-empathic responses made female victims decide to either go back to violent relationships or adopt strategies of disconnections to cope. As a result, female victims seemed to be trapped in the violent cycle. A useful strategy was also discovered. When female victims experienced empathic relationships with other persons, for example social workers, they may move towards exploring their inner feelings, discussing possibilities and thus solving problems. Implications for social work practice are addressed.
