休閒活動的定義、參與動機與功能之探討

摘要

隨著時代變遷與經濟發展，國民所得的增加以及週休二日的實施和政府對於國民旅遊的推廣，造成國人對於休閒的意識提高，民眾在參與休閒的意願和機會也相對的增加。國內外學者在休閒方面的相關論述和著作也愈來愈多，因此「休閒」一詞的定義和功用也因為見解不同呈現不一樣的看法和主張。本文主要是將國內外學者對於休閒的看法定義作比較，加以整理之後分為時間、心理、實行方式三個層面去探討，並且對於休閒者參與休閒活動的動機以及參與休閒後在個人、家庭、社會、經濟、學校教育上所產生的功能和作用作分析與整理。

As the times change, there has been development of enconomics, increase in national income, and more time for leisure. The government has attempted to popularize national tourism. Thus led to increased awareness of leisure and participation in leisure pursuits since there is more opportunity. More and more scholars, both here and abroad, are writing books about leisure. Thus, there are different kinds of views and definitions of leisure. The purpose of this paper is to compare the definitions of the various scholars' viewpointsin in the following three dimensions, time spent on leisure pursuits, people's attitudes about leisure, and what people do. Furthermore, the paper also sorts the reasons and effects on individual, family, society and education after particpating leisure.
